However, sceptics shouldn’t be so quick to begrudge a highly-rated boss joining his fiercest competitors, being Bavarian-born after all.

England 0-0 Germany: Loftus-Cheek excels as youthful side earn credible draw against World Champions

Ruben Loftus-Cheek impressed on his senior England debut and earned the Man of the Match award after an excellent midfield display against the World Champions at Wembley.
