Frustrating, sluggish and with key personnel missing, Bayern Munich still managed to take another huge leap towards their eighth successive Bundesliga title triumph with a 2-1 win over Gladbach. First-half goals from Joshua Zirkzee and a Benjamin Pavard own goal meant the game was finely poised at 1-1, before Leon Goretzka’s 85th-minute winner.
